Dominic comes from a longtime soccer family here in Tucson and our club and community is so proud to see him continue to excel. Dominic Berrios who played for RSL AZ Southern AZ and RSL AZ before moving up to Utah to compete at the Real Salt Lake Academy has become the fifth RSL AZ player to make his pro debut since 2021.
Berrios, who competed for the Real Salt Lake’s U17 Academy this past season, made his pro debut on April 21 and since then he has appeared in five matches.
Previous RSL AZ players who have made their pro debuts include: Izzy Amparo, Luis Rivera, Julio Benitez, and Noah Ervin.
RSL AZ is the only club in Arizona with a direct pathway to Major League Soccer. Earlier this summer, four RSL AZ players were invited by the Real Monarchs to train with them in Utah for the week.
