Our RSL-AZ Southern Arizona teams went undefeated in the National League – Desert Conference Fall Showcase this past weekend. Our 03 boys won all three of their games in dominating fashion, scoring 13 goals and only conceding 2. The boys are currently in first place on goal differential. Our 01 Girls won 2 and tied one and are sitting in 2nd place in the league with a great chance to win it. The results were great but the soccer was even better, our coaches and technical director are very proud of the progress both teams have made.
The boys will be attending a National League Showcase in North Carolina in December to compete against the most elite teams in the country. We are very honored by the success these teams have had in our inaugural year as part of Real Salt Lake’s youth system but we are not content. We look forward to growing as a club and expanding the opportunities available to soccer players and coaches across Southern Arizona.
